Academy Won't Give Stunt Coordinator Oscar

On behalf of everyone here at Film Light, I call bullshit on this decision. Stuntwork requires artistry, technical aptitude and the creativity to make 'movie magic' (in the most traditional sense) happen with limited resources. In the coming months while we're all enamoured with the explosions and fight scenes that typify summer blockbuster fare let's take a pause to appreciate the people who put their blood, sweat and tears (tough guys cry too) into making some of the best movies ever made come alive.
